INSPIRATION

           Ameya is deeply passionate about supporting her fellow women in technology, engineering, sciences, and in the arts. She loves spending time engaging with her fellow undergraduate engineering students and mentoring her artist classmates in academics to succeed in achieving their creative dreams and continue to practice their art forms.

​

            A cause important to her is Jeevan Vidya Mission, a social empowerment community organization that was founded by her great grandfather Sahadeorao Kadam. She credits her curiosity, hard work, and ambition to Jeevan Vidya Mission’s values and she regularly meditates.

​

           Her paternal great grandmother, Panji, built and ran a boardinghouse and a farm all while singlehandedly raising a son. As a woman entrepreneur, Panji’s courage continues to be one of her biggest inspirations in pursuing technology and business.

​

           She traces her passion for art from her international architect father to Mothi Aai, her paternal grandmother, who was a craft artist. Mothi Aai’s handmade fabric art, toys, and a crossed stitched blanket given to Ameya when she was a baby inspires her to make all her art with joy and love.

​
